Please read these instructions. They’ll help get your music reviewed faster, if it’s a good fit for the site.

For music submissions, please include the Bandcamp link to your EP or full length album in an email to mark@bandcampsbest.com. Unfortunately, I do not have time to listen to singles, so please, only submit albums with a length of three songs or greater!!! For extra karma points, you could include a free download code (details here) so I can listen wherever and generate a review even faster (I find mobile Bandcamp sites to still be a bit wonky and not work when I want them to, so I still love downloads).

Also, before submitting, please take some time to think about whether your music would be a good fit for the site. I’ve  Over the past few years I’ve tried to hone in on two general categories: Indie and Electronic.  Here’s a breakdown of what I’ve been focusing on within those categories:

Indie

  • Acoustic/Folk/Americana
  • Alternative Rock/Pop
  • No Rock n’ Roll, Country, Metal, or Avant-garde/Experimental submissions please!!!

Electronic

  • Downtempo/Chillout/Trip Hop/Instrumental Hip Hop
  • Ambient/Glitch
  • No Rap, Dubstep, House/Electro/Dance or Avant-garde/Experimental submissions please!!!

And while I’m not opposed to listening to your nu-glitch metal post-techno band with a giraffe mascot, I simply don’t have the expertise to write about it.

You can follow the site on Facebook and Twitter.

Bandcamp’s Best is not affiliated with Bandcamp.com in any way, shape or form.  This site works as an objective review site featuring music that I either find myself, or is submitted by the respective artists.  Compilations released on our Bandcamp page contain music that has been vetted to be the highest quality (by my standards, anyway), from independent artists that have been featured on Bandcamp’s Best.  Permission for each song used in the compilations has been secured from the respective artists, and can be reproduced if need be.

My alter ego is the electronic/jazz/instrumental sensation Ark Arsenal.  When I’m not talking about other people’s music, I’m making my own.  Feel free to listen here:
